    Categories of Camera, Classification of Cameras, Advantages of Digital Camera over Film Camera, Digital Image obtained by Digital Camera & Film Camera, Parts of Digital Camera and their functions, Camera Accessories.

  • 3. Lens:

    How lens is made, Characteristics of lens i.e. Focal length, Lens speed, Lens elements, Angle of View, Depth of field, Depth of focus, Types of lenses i.e. Standard lens, Wide angle lens, Telephoto lens, Zoom lens, Fisheye lens, Mirror lens, Perspective lens, Macro Lens, Close-up lens attachments, Extension tube attachments, Bellows, Reversing ring, Teleconverter, Coated lens, Care of a lens.

  • STUDIO PORTRAIT WORKSHOP

  • 1) First Day :

    Lecture 6.00 PM to 8.00 PM (2 hrs)

    Studio Facilities, Right Focal Length, Lens,Faces & Expressions, Portrait Lighting,Balancing the Light, Backgrounds, Camera Angle & Height.

  • 2) Second Day :

    Studio Shoot 10.00 AM to 6.00 PM (8 hrs).

  • II PRACTICLE

    1. Fieldwork

    Participants attend outdoor shooting session to cover up News Photographs, Feature Photographs, Photo stories, Photo essay at different public roads, Traffic, etc.

  • 2. Each participant will make a portfolio of his work consisting of pictures & stories of different aspects.

  • III CERTIFICATES

    Participants will be awarded the certificates of completion of Photo-journalism course by the National Academy of Photo-Journalism.
